A restaurant menu editor, built around how menus actually work.
Menu Author is a full design surface in the browser that handles the parts of a menu other design tools don't: sections, dishes, prices, add-ons, dietary tags, and hours, without making you wire any of it together.

The canvas
A design surface that shows exactly what your guests will see. What's on the screen is what comes out of the printer or onto the wall. Helpful guides keep your spacing tidy, you can pinch to zoom or fit the whole page in one click, and there's a fullscreen mode when you want to focus.
Fine control when you want it
Nudge anything into place, rotate it, fade it, or add a soft shadow. Bring elements forward or send them back. Lock the parts you've finished so you don't bump them by accident, or hide them while you work. Select a few items and line them up evenly in one click.
Edit right on the menu
Double-click any dish, heading, or note and type. The text looks exactly as it will on the finished menu as you edit, and the background adjusts so light or dark text always stays readable. Set the size of a dish name, its description, and its price separately. Rename the menu without leaving the editor, and move dishes between pages without rebuilding them.
Work quickly across a big menu
Move a whole section, with all its dishes, as one piece. Style one dish the way you like it, then apply that look to every dish on every page at once. Turn a long list into tidy columns automatically. The usual keyboard shortcuts (undo, redo, duplicate, select all) work the way you'd expect on Mac and Windows.
One menu for print and web
Mark anything as "print only" and it shows up in your printed menu but not on the web version, with a clear icon so you can see what goes where. No more keeping two separate files in sync.
A safety net
A clear marker tells you when you have unsaved work, and Menu Author stops you before you leave with changes unsaved. Undo covers deletions and theme changes, so you can experiment freely. And if one element ever has trouble, the editor keeps the rest of your work safe.
