QR codes for your restaurant menu.
Put your menu on the table without printing a thing. Make a QR code that opens your menu on any phone, in your own colors, and that always shows your latest prices. No app for your guests to download.
How to make a QR code menu
- Add your menu. Build it in Menu Author, or import it from a PDF, a photo, pasted text, or a spreadsheet.
- Publish it. Publish your menu to its own web page in one click.
- Create the QR code. Generate a QR code for that menu in your own colors and any size.
- Print and display. Download the image and print it on a table tent, a poster, or a window decal.
For the details, from what to print the code on to the mistakes that strand guests on a dead link, read the full guide: how to make a QR code menu.
Your code, your brand
Set the code's colors to match your menu and pick any size, from a small table tent to a full window poster. Download it as a print-ready image whenever you need it. You can also drop a QR code right inside a printed menu, pointing guests to a feedback form, your reservations page, or a tip link. Want to play with colors first? Try the free QR code generator.
Always your latest menu
The QR code points to your menu's web page, not to a fixed file. Change a price, add a special, or swap the whole menu, republish, and the same code shows the new version. You never reprint a code because the menu changed, so your table tents and posters never go stale. The same published page can also run as a menu board on a TV screen, so every surface stays in sync.
Readable by every guest
A QR code menu is a web page, and since June 2025 the European Accessibility Act holds digital services in the EU to WCAG 2.1 AA. Menu Author publishes your menu as real text with proper headings, a keyboard-friendly filter and language bar, and full names behind every dietary and allergen code, and it opens in the guest's own language when you have translations active. The details are in the accessibility statement.
See what's working
Scans are counted separately from your other visits, so you can see how many guests opened the menu from the table versus your website or social links. It's simple, anonymous counting: no tracking cookies and no personal data.
Questions, answered
- Is the QR code menu free?
- Yes. You can build a menu, publish it, and create a QR code on the free plan, with no card required.
- How do diners open the menu?
- They point their phone camera at the code and tap the link that pops up. There's no app to download, and it works on any modern phone.
- Do I have to reprint the code when the menu changes?
- No. The code points to your published menu, so when you update the menu and republish, the same code shows the new version. Your table tents never go stale.
- Can I match the code to my brand?
- Yes. Set the code's colors and size, then download it as a print-ready image for table tents, posters, or window decals.
- Can I see how many people scan it?
- Yes. Scans are counted separately in your analytics, so you can see how much of your traffic comes from the table.
