Profile and settings

Alongside your restaurants and your team, Menu Author keeps a set of settings that belong to you personally rather than to any one account.

Editing your profile

Update your own profile details from your account settings at any time.

Appearance

Choose Light, Dark, or System to control how the app looks to you. System follows your device’s own setting automatically. See A tour of the app for where this lives in the user menu.

Manage your cookie preferences from your settings, so you control what is set on your own terms.

Deleting your profile

If you want to leave Menu Author entirely, you can delete your own profile yourself. Because this is permanent, Menu Author asks you to type your email address to confirm before it goes through.

How to delete your profile

  1. Open your account settings.
  2. Find the delete profile option.
  3. Type your email address exactly to confirm.
  4. Confirm the deletion. This cannot be undone.
