Embed in Squarespace

Squarespace accepts your embed code through a Code Block. See Embedding basics if you have not gotten your code from Share & Embed yet.

Adding a Code Block

Add a Code Block to the page where you want your menu, paste your embed code into it, and save. The block renders your embedded menu inline with the rest of the page’s content.

Plan requirement

Squarespace only runs embed code like this on paid plans above the entry-level Personal plan. If your site is on the Personal plan, or still on a free trial that will roll onto Personal, the code block will save but the embed will not appear on the live page. Upgrade your plan before relying on this to show your menu.

How to embed your menu in Squarespace

1. Open Share & Embed on your published menu and copy the embed code.
2. Edit the page where you want your menu and add a Code Block.
3. Paste your embed code into the block and save.
4. View the live page to confirm your menu appears.
5. If nothing shows up, check that your site is on a plan above Personal.
